Acceptable Use Policy
Last Updated: July 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") outlines the strict guidelines and prohibited activities regarding your use of the Clockly Service. By accessing the platform via web, mobile application, or physical kiosk, you agree to adhere to these rules.
📵 1. Prohibited Actions (Fraud & Spoofing)
Clockly is a tool used for legally binding payroll calculations. Any attempt to artificially manipulate time or location data is strictly prohibited.
- Buddy Punching: You may not clock in or out on behalf of another employee, nor may you ask another employee to clock in or out for you.
- Biometric Spoofing: When using the physical kiosk, you may not use photographs, digital screens, or physical masks to attempt to bypass the camera's photo verification log.
- Geofence Tampering: You may not use VPNs, GPS spoofing applications, or altered network configurations to falsify your physical location when clocking in via a mobile device.
Violations of these tracking rules constitute payroll fraud. We reserve the right to flag suspicious activity directly to your Employer for disciplinary action.
🔑 2. Account Security
- PIN & Password Sharing: You must keep your dashboard access PIN and/or password strictly confidential.
- Hardware Tokens: If provided with an NFC fob or smart card for kiosk access, you must not lend, clone, or duplicate this hardware. If your token is lost, you must report it to your management immediately so the UID can be unlinked from your profile.
💻 3. System Integrity & Security
You agree not to engage in any activity that could harm, disable, overburden, or impair the Clockly network.
- No Reverse Engineering: You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any aspect of the Clockly software or physical kiosk integrations.
- No Automated Scraping: You may not use bots, spiders, or automated scripts to interact with the Clockly database or extract schedule/payroll data without authorization.
- No Malicious Payloads: You may not upload or transmit viruses, malware, or any other code designed to disrupt the functionality of the Service.
Failure to comply with this AUP may result in immediate suspension of your access to the Clockly platform.
